Rare Native American Signed Dan Nieto Sterling Cuff Watch. This might truly be one of those’once in a lifetime’ pieces, so don’t let this one get away! This is a one of a kind piece created by the famous artisan Dan Nieto. As far as I can tell, this is the only watch cuff he created. Maybe a creative experimentation? Custom work for a special person? It certainly is not his normal forte. Currently, his artwork is in high demand with a price that reflects that. This piece is very bold and weighs 89.91 grams. It has beautiful raised features that accentuate its massive 3D appearance. The inside diameter measures 2.5 inches at its widest point. The opening is 1.5 inches wide. The band has a width of 1.25 inches. It is in excellent condition, and shows some signs of natural wear and age. It is made from high quality sterling silver and is stamped and signed by the artisan. This was just serviced and had a brand new battery installed, and it’s working perfectly! Please feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures. Dan Nieto was a Native American artist, specifically of Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo) descent, known for his unique and captivating jewelry designs. Nieto’s artistic style is unique, incorporating figural imagery into his designs. His work frequently features striking indigenous figures, showcasing a deep emotional artistry. Dan Nieto passed away in 2014.
