MUCH NICER THAN PHOTOS – Photos truly do not due justice to this fabulous SET! ZUNI Native American Indian HORSE Squash Blossom Necklace and Earrings set. There are no “blossoms” but this is considered that type of necklace by some Native American Indian collectors. Handmade by Zuni Native American Indian artist EDWARD LEEKITY (please see last photo for artist’s personal hallmark). Please note: Edward is the husband of CARLENE LEEKITY (who died in 2014 – some obituaries say 2013). Her husband, Edward, worked alongside his wife carrying on the family tradition of these gorgeous, breathtakingly beautiful entirely HANDMADE necklace and earring sets. I assume Edward is still living but I have no further information on him. 100% STERLING SILVER guaranteed. Sterling silver is just starting to tarnish which is “natural” for sterling silver items due to “oxidation” from the air. Genuine natural stones: turquoise, Red Jasper (the “reddish-brown” color horses), abalone, mother-of-pearl seashell stones in various colors and black jet jet is fossilized tree material that is millions of years old (similar to amber only JET BLACK in color). Please note: the sparkling gorgeous abalone seashell on some of the horses. There are some “sparkly” RED stones that I believe to be Opals (please see photos). Condition: Pristine and Perfect.
