Here is a magnificent one if a kind piece in Sterling Silver with a Navajo bear and man in the moon scene Pendant. Jet Turquoise Coral Mother of pearl Gaspeite inlay. The piece was made by long-time Santa Fe artists Andrew Shows, who together since 1978 run Shows Studio. This duo and their studio are iconic in Santa Fe, and you can find their pieces on the market for hundreds of dollars. Now their jewelry is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Indian Art and Culture in Santa Fe, NM, though they are among the few non-Indians selected. Here is another interesting find: a drum, but body of which made of some sort of steel or metal magnet sticks to it! There is a good amount of crudeness and character in the way it was made. Top and bottom is hide deer/elk/cow? Have no idea, there is a rough edged hole in the drum body. Top and bottom tide. Size 10 1/4″ x 7 1/4″. I spent couple of hours searching and learning about drums and could not find any info on what i have. That said, i do not know if it is rare or fake, or both, it’s age or whom it was made by… If you know anything about this item, please share so i can adjust my asking price accordingly for people to be interested to give this instrument a new loving home.

Worthy of a museum. Intricate details in this VERY large, very rugged, handsomely hand carved, warriors face. This piece takes the win for having a certain bearing or vibe. It is beyond amazing. There is a lot to say about First Nations people and this ring says it all in a hand carved piece of art. It captures the rugged beauty, the fierceness, the fire, the instinct and wisdom of an ancient people. Just look at his expression. Timeless and commanding with nothing to prove. This will become your mantra. It is really big at 1.5 long (knuckle to knuckle), by an inch wide and half an inch deep. The face is carved out of a natural piece of turquoise, as a sculpture, three-dimensional and glorious with natural copper and ore hues running throughout the huge piece of turquoise. His hair is parted in the middle with hair strands carved and held by a gemstone headband made of mother of pearl, sugilite, malachite, lapis, ox blood red carnelian and turquoise. The band is very wide at the table then tapers down under the finger, so you still have full use of your hands. The ring down not roll but stays in place in spite of it’s large scale. It is a very heavy 20.4 grams and set in stamped sterling silver 925 that we’ve highly polished. FROM A collection of twelve faces, each ring has a different face and different sized ring. We own the entire collection to which this ring is a part of. We have one ring left of the 12 rings we started with. This piece is sizeable but please ask if we’re able to size to your needs. The cost will vary on the size you need, and it will take our benchman about a week to do the work. It barely fits into the ring box that we will include.
Born in Richmond County, North Carolina in 1898, C. Wallace found his life’s calling at Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico at the age of 20. In 1918, Wallace arrived in Gallup, New Mexico and in 1919 he was hired by Louis Ilfeld at the Ilfeld Company to work at their trading post in Zuni, NM. After acquiring his trading license at Zuni Pueblo, Wallace set out to transform the lives of the Zuni people – 1,600 Zunis at the time – by encouraging them to produce high-quality silver jewelry with stone inlay for the tourist trade. Desiring a strong and fruitful relationship with the Zuni people, Wallace dedicated himself to becoming “totally acquainted” with the entire Zuni village (Wallace’s own words). “He spent’many nights each week’ after the store closed visiting the Indians in their homes and seeking to build their trust in him”. The 1920s and 1930s were years dedicated to a new way of thinking – despite tough financial times and a changing market ie. The Great Depression, the arrival of the Santa Fe Railroad & Route 66 Wallace saw opportunity for increased tourist trade and jewelry sales for Zuni Pueblo. Wallace promoted the use of traditional motifs as well, bringing over 600 examples of old pottery and other artifacts to Zuni artists as sources for inspiration. In a thirty-year span, between 1920 and 1950, Zuni jewelry-related tribal income increased from four to 65 percent. G Wallace jewelry is currently highly collectible upon many reputable dealers & collectors and you’ll also see his pieces displayed in several museums across the Nation. Wallace collectors piece is also signed on the back with a picto spade clover. This ring is roughly a size 7 and weighs a solid 10+ grams. This “must have” collectors piece will make a great addition to any Native American collection. Take advantage of this rare opportunity.
