Great amazing vintage piece by Shows Studios Andrew Shows. Rare find: Their pieces tell a story. Here is a magnificent one if a kind piece in Sterling Silver with a Navajo bear and man in the moon scene Pendant. Jet Turquoise Coral Mother of pearl Gaspeite inlay. The piece was made by long-time Santa Fe artists Andrew Shows, who together since 1978 run Shows Studio. This duo and their studio are iconic in Santa Fe, and you can find their pieces on the market for hundreds of dollars. Now their jewelry is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Indian Art and Culture in Santa Fe, NM, though they are among the few non-Indians selected. Very RARE and amazing example of a bird fetish necklace handmade by Andrew Emerson Quam. Consisting of PLUMP (1″ – 1-1/4″) birds strung with large barrels of natural coral, this necklace looks phenomenal on. Rare collaboration with Carolyn Pollack Relios and famous designer Andrew Rodriguez (see last photo). We know how famous and AWESOME Carolyn is although Andrew is famous for his Navajo art and has made very few pieces of jewelry. This Navajo bracelet is made by hand and stamped with both artist signatures on end tag. Charms are solid heavy 3-D and etched with beautiful high end red jasper that has a wood like grain in the stone with owl, bird, bear, horse, turtle, toggle clasp weight 41 g with nice rope style chain adjustable 7-8 and has a ton of time and detail in this wearable art.
