There are a couple of spots on the Bolo slide where a small amount of the filler around the turquoise is missing. I added very detailed photos to show this. The leather cord looks newer and looks like it has been replaced.

Huge Old Vintage Museum Quality Heavy Turquoise Slab Kachina Sterling Bolo Tie?? . Listed for a short time part of my personal lifelong collection. This beautiful turquoise blue slab huge and heavy. Total weight is 153 g. Length of total bolo is 4 1/2 inches and 2 1/2 inches across at the widest point. Kachina which is hand made and sterling silver measures two and three-quarter inches long by 1 inch at its widest point. This piece is stick at a little less than a quarter inch. Back is clean with natural patina marked J and sterling underneath. Takes up a whole hand to hold. Leather is perfect, bolo is perfect with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. The bolo is handmade and signed by the famous Hopi instructor/artist JOHNNY BLUE JAY. It still has it’s natural dark patina on the silver. I added some pictures for you to see including measurements. We are offering this Beautiful 1970’s Rare Old Oscar Betz Handmade Sterling Silver Turquoise & Lapis Stone & Coral Bolo Tie. Oscar Betz is a well known jewelry silversmith who has been making jewelry since the late 1960’s. His pieces are highly sought after and are owned by many celebrities and in many private collections. This bolo tie is hand signed by Oscar Betz (see photos). The sterling silver still has some of the old age patina. A few of the stones have nicks or surface cracks but all are stable.
