Handmade by Navajo silversmith Andy Cadman, Andy comes from a long line of silversmiths and learned his trade from his brothers Daniel “Sunshine” Reeves, and Gary Reeves. Andy Cadman makes beautiful Navajo silver works of art, implementing deep hand stamped designs that cover his entire creations. This is a sterling silver Navajo handmade wide band ring, with a natural rare high grade Fox Turquoise stone. The stone is a beautiful blue and green color with a red/brown host rock matrix. The stone sits in a smooth bezel with a hand twisted rope of silver at the base. The silver work is extraordinary and done in traditional old style Navajo fashion. Andy added repousse bump outs, beads, and twisted silver wire to the sides of the beautiful stone. He covered the entire ring in deep Navajo stamp work. Andy finished the silver work with a beautiful dark oxidation and a high shine. This ring is a size 8.5 The face of this ring measures 7/8 inch and the band measures 13/16 inch, and tapers down to 7/16 inch, the stone measures 3/4 inch by 9/16 inch. Weighs 17.2 grams Stamped A. We are offering this Beautiful Kevin Yazzie Navajo Handmade Sterling Silver & RARE No. 8 Turquoise Stone Ring. Tufa-casting is an old Navajo technique where the impression of the ring or bracelet is carved in volcanic stone (tufa-stone) and the molten metal is poured into the impression. This was one of the very first techniques that the Navajo created in the late 1800’s. It is much nicer than the photos show. It is signed on the back as shown in the photos. It is a size 11.50. The face of the ring measures 1-5/8″ X 1″. The total weight is 32.7 grams. Due to our business schedule we are not always on the computer. This incredibly rare high quality sugilite pendant was handmade by Navajo Albert Jake to exemplify clean stampwork and incredible symmetry. Sugilite is a stone which is rarely seen and even more scarecely seen in such high quality, deep purple dues. Albert Jake completes this pendant with fine details such as twist wire wrapped its stone and carefully placed stamps to create dimention. Measuring 2″ long by 1 1/2″ wide at the largest points, this pendant stands out and commands attention. The bale of this pendant is capable of surrounding 18mm Navajo pearls (not included). Weighs 23.0 grams. Please note the interesting variance in color when shown in sunlight versus in the shade.
