RARE WATER BIRD Kachina Doll 12, Authentic Native American Copper, Blue. Turquoise, Signed, Handmade 1980’s by Navajo Artist MINT CONDITION. This is a rare and beautiful Kachina is in mint conditions. The dramatic Water Bird Kachina symbolizes the renewal of life, wet seasons, distant travel, and wisdom. Hand-carved from aspen and fixed on a cedar pedestal, this spectacular Kachina is hand-painted down to the smallest detail and adorned with rabbit fur and deerskin. Authentic Navajo-crafted, complete with artisan’s signature and Navajo census number. This vintage Kachina Doll is 12 inches tall, 12″ wide and 8″ deep. His body is painted in copper and turquoise blue. His leather costume is beautifully detailed with hand painted feather. His head, neck, shoulders and wings have a collar of white rabbit fur. Overall dimensions: 12″ tall, 12″ wide and 8 deep. The bottom of the piece is signed by Navajo artisan along with census number.. RARE Native American Zuni BIRD Cuff Bracelet Unmarked Sterling Silver Vintage????? This piece is a vintage work of art and its big. First let’s get the flaws out of the way. It has some missing turquoise inlay in two separate areas. I pointed both out in the picture for your reference. One spot has some discoloration on the mother of pearl. Otherwise the inlay is in good vintage condition. This piece has great patina. It’s definitely an older piece as you can see by the craftsmanship. It weights a whopping 103.98 grams. The face of the bird measures 3″ tall and 3″ wide. As you see it covers a large part of my arm. The opening is 1 1/2″ wide and the interior is 2 1/2″ across. The piece has very little flex, the solid sterling doesn’t have much give to adjust. Very rare unusual piece. We sell used or new vintage/antique items. We are not experts on anything. This gorgeous Zuni inlay bracelet was obviously made by one of the Zuni master silversmiths. It shows a beautiful pueblo bird design inlaid with turquoise, mother of pearl shell, onyx and coral. The inlay is in excellent condition and very smooth to the touch. The front of the bracelet measures 2 1/8 tall. The bracelet size is 5 1/4″ around the inside plus an additional 1 1/2″ opening at the back for a total of 6 3/4 around. The bracelet weighs 50.8 grams or 1.8 ounces. TOTALLY STUNNING S& E GUARDIAN Lovely ZUNI vintage handmade semi precious with a variety of VARIOUS stones inlaid work. I have been collecting Native American jewellery for a long time now and this is one of my favourite pieces a amazing rare one off stunning piece. Sterling Silver with beautiful blue Jay bird and flowers with Native American symbols. Signed artists makers Mark. The bracelet measures 6cm x 4.5 cm. & 2.5 cm in width. The gap is 3 cm but can be pulled slightly apart to be slide on. Really is a stunning unique one off piece it is like wearing a piece of original art on your wrist! Husband and wife artists. Samuel and ester guardian. This is a one off rare beautiful piece it measures as above. A lovely item very unique! I bought this in America some years ago as I collected Native American jewellery and paid now having a big clear out! Boho style bought in California some years ago. Rare Native American Silver Fetish Animal And Bird Necklace Heavy 116 Grams. Here we have a flash from the past–a silver bead necklace with silver fetish beads of animals such as turtles, birds, badgers, fox and fish all interspersed among the silver tubular heishi, plus small round silver beads capping each animal. That design of liquid silver mixed with animal fetishes–it smacks of the 1970s! The fetishes are mold cast, and heavy. Since there are no sterling stamps–casting generally does not allow for a stamp–I did acid test one of the fetishes in an obscure underside of the long tail (since acid testing can leave a small lighter dot) and it did test positive for sterling silver. They have no hallmark, so while we can’t say for certain that they are Native American, we believe they are Zuni. The necklace is long at 34 total length end to end, and each of the 21 animal fetishes ranges from 3/4″ long to 1-1/4″ long. They are absolutely adorable and, again, have weight to them. A whopping 4 + ounces total or 115 grams. The piece is threaded on wire and ends with a hook and eye. The silver has a beautiful, kind of dark patina, and if you prefer I will be happy to give it a light polish. Very rare and hard to find extremely heavy great quality please see photos closely for condition and thanks for looking.
