Note: This ring was originally a size 8.5 and Sammie Kescoli professionally remade a new shank at a size 11. The shank pictured is the 8.5, but the new shank is a true Sammie Kescoli Begay design. I will send pocture of shank ipon request. Navajo master jeweler Sammie Kescoli Begay has chosen an incredible rare gem grade natural Dry Creek turquoise to create this gorgeous ring. The gem is a translucent sky blue with grey and chocolate-brown spiderweb matrix characteristic of the highest quality found at the mine. Sammie has hand pounded the shank out of ingot and expertly split the shank. The gem is surrounded by an intricate hand chiseled bezel, dozens of droplets and hand pulled twist wire. Some people refer to this style as “Lariat” style due to the dangling pendant. BIG, BOLD, BEAUTIFUL – When you want the BEST… Absolute PRISTINE perfect condition. Much, much nicer in person. Photos do not due this justice. 100% guaranteed solid STERLING SILVER. Only slight tarnishing to the sterling silver. Entirely painstakingly all HANDMADE, HAND-CRAFTED. Genuine, natural very rare “DRY CREEK” TURQUOISE from a very small mine outside of Austin, Nevada in Lander county. This much loved, though very rare, Dry Creek turquoise is known for it’s pale aqua “sea-mist” color featuring generous amounts of cocoa brown color matrix. There are pale green, pale aqua and light turquoise colors thru-out the stones. All stones ABSOLUTELY PERFECT: no cracks, no damage, no missing stones. 29 clasp to clasp. Pendant “drop”: 4 2/3 (yes this is a BIG necklace just so you know) I tried this on for you and surprisingly it’s comfortable if you enjoy wearing nearly 190 grams around your neck. 188 grams – Heavy, substantial extremely well made.
