Here for sale is a vintage painting by the important muralist James Daugherty. The painting is in good condition and appears to be done with gouache. There is some rippling to the edges of the paper and a tear to bottom left border as found. The painting depicts Native American Indians dancing at Tusuque Pueblo Fiesta de San Diego, November 12th, 1946. The painting is signed in pencil and within the painting with initials and is also signed with full last name on bottom verso. The painting genre may have been used in murals at some point in time? Rare Native American Signed Dan Nieto Sterling Cuff Watch. This might truly be one of those’once in a lifetime’ pieces, so don’t let this one get away! This is a one of a kind piece created by the famous artisan Dan Nieto. As far as I can tell, this is the only watch cuff he created. Maybe a creative experimentation? Custom work for a special person? It certainly is not his normal forte. Currently, his artwork is in high demand with a price that reflects that. This piece is very bold and weighs 89.91 grams. It has beautiful raised features that accentuate its massive 3D appearance. The inside diameter measures 2.5 inches at its widest point. The opening is 1.5 inches wide. The band has a width of 1.25 inches. It is in excellent condition, and shows some signs of natural wear and age. It is made from high quality sterling silver and is stamped and signed by the artisan. Dan Nieto was a Native American artist, specifically of Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo) descent, known for his unique and captivating jewelry designs.
