This particular item is an incredible opportunity to own a very rare and valuable ring. Guaranteed authentic and sterling silver. This ring is an older Zuni handmade piece. 19 5 0s in good vintage condition. It has a thick doubled band that separates towards the back of the ring and is attached to a thick square plate of sterling silver for durability and stableness. The stones are all in good condition and secured in there own sawtooth bezels. None of the stones have been replaced, they are all original and they are all made of natural turquoise. It is very common to see older natural turquoise stones that have faded and lost their vividness in color. There is a very small shallow hole on the backside. I dont think it was intentionally put there but it doesnt affect the face of the ring at all. Because this ring is so large it looks like the small hole could have been from where this ring was previously a pin but the hole is too far over on the outer edge of the ring for it to be where a pin was. Im not an expert in vintage Native American jewelry but from the little bit I do know, I believe this ring was made just like it is… The ring weighs 16 grams and measures 1&11/16 in diameter. Please see all photos and look carefully. The ring does have some minor wear from age and prior use but nonetheless its in great vintage condition. This ring would not make for a good everyday ring. It is large and would get caught in clothing and things like that. It would make for a better collection piece or special occasion ring. Its truly a beautiful work of art and very hard to find at this price. Thank you for looking and make sure to check out my other Native American listings.
