Although this World War II veteran only had about 30 short years of jewelry making, his talent and techniques are still recognized. Simplicio is one of the first known artists to begin incorporating natural red coral branches and rough-cut coral nuggets into his jewelry. As early as 1931, it is also said that he is possibly one of the first Zuni artists to begin using gold. Simplicio worked at C. Wallace’s trading post and collaborated with amazing Zuni artists including LEEKYA DEYUSE, Teddie Weahkee, Leo Poblano, Bernard Homer and Lee Edakkie. Throughout his time, he developed an inapt ability to create stunning leaf motifs with intricate stamps and carved details, beginning his signature balance of delicate leaf work and heavy turquoise and coral designs (Four Winds Gallery). This Beautiful rare vintage Zuni handmade bold sterling silver ring has Simplicio’s signature stamped leaf design Appliqué on both sides of the ring and also notice the sterling snake over the eye catching turquoise & red coral gemstones. A stunning collector’s piece. Gorgeous colors on both stones. This ring was made for a large finger size. If you look at the pictures you’ll notice the ring on the sizer and though it stops at size 14, there is still a gap on the top & bottom of the inner band. I’m not sure exactly the size but it’s made for at least a size 14++ finger (see pics). The ring weighs a heavy 27+ grams. Beautiful Zuni sterling silver snake eye turquoise necklace is GREAT condition!!! I can’t find another one of these anywhere!! It is about 14 and has a hook clasp. The stones are sawtooth bezel set and I think the sawtooth setting really makes stones pop!! I saw two sterling marks on the back by the clasp otherwise no other marks that I know of. Truly in amazing condition so don’t miss out!

You are looking at a rare vintage Zuni Handmade Large sterling silver snake wrap around design ring set with an interesting large raised freeform turquoise stone. Notice the wonderful bold design on this gorgeous vintage ring and also the beautiful turquoise stone. I added plenty of pictures for you to see including measurements. Rare Vintage Effie C. Zuni Watch Sterling Silver, Black Onyx, & Turquoise Snake Eyes. This beautiful Zuni onyx, turquoise, and silver watch is rare and hard to find in black onyx. It looks great as is but could use a good cleaning and polishing. I’m not sure of its exact vintage but my mom bought it in Colorado back in the 1960s. This gorgeous watch might even be a one-of-a-kind item and hard to come by. It weighs 2 oz. And is signed on the back of both watch tips. The watch face has Roman numerals and a Native American chief’s head. The condition is very good but could use cleaning and polishing. The watch says 1911 under the chief’s head but that can’t be when it was made because I think it uses a battery and also because Effie Calavaza wasn’t even born until 1928. Maybe that is the date that the Japanese watch company was started. Anything Japanese is usually good quality and I don’t even know if it works but could use a new battery. A watch of your choice could easily be put in this band. This could be either a man or woman’s watch because it’s not large or small, its somewhere in-between. I’m not positive but I would say its vintage is mid 1950s to mid 1960s. See photos for a better. Of condition and for dimensions.
