The stone is a dark green color with an amazing web matrix. The stone sits in a smooth shadow box bezel. The silver work for this piece was done in an amazing contemporary style. Leonard hand cut the beautiful overlay design for this pendant. Leonard completed this pendant with a high shine. This pendant measures 2-1/2 inches from top of bale to bottom and has a 5/8 inch diameter. The stone has a 3/4 inch diameter, and the bale has a 1/4 inch opening. Weighs 29.6 grams. Stone(s): 2 rare and beautiful light green and brown turquoise stones, most likely from the Damele mine, largest one is about 1 3/16″ by 7/8″, bezel to bezel (nice thick stones). Weight: 79.6 grams. This is a vintage sterling silver Concho belt measuring 37 1/4 inches long with 1 3/4 inch by 1 5/8 inch (45 MM x 40.3 MM) Concha links and a 2 inch by 2 1/2 inch 63.2 MM x 54.2MM buckle. The belt is comprised of fourteen (14) Conchas, each with a unique, different detailed design with millgrain edges for a beautiful finished look. The unisex belt can be adjusted smaller, with the simple hook and eye closure. This versatile piece can also be worn around the neck. The word Concho comes from the Spanish Concha for conch or seashell, and these pieces are used to decorate saddles, bridles, clothing, jewelry and belts. The Concha belt is in excellent original condition and features its aged patina to preserve its vintage quality. It is truly a work of art and is tested and guaranteed sterling silver. The belt weighs 203.1 grams (6.53 ozt). Thank you for taking the time to view my item. Very Rare, vintage circa 1940’s Native American Sterling Silver belt buckle by Hopi artist, “Dean Siwingyumptewa”. This is signed with his earliest pictograph signature. Dean Siwingyumptewa was a Hopi GI Bill class of of 1947 to 1949 graduate. His work is very rare and highly sought after. This is a really amazing piece and very rare to find an actual Spiny Oyster natural shell set in sterling silver with a unique design. The hieshi style orange oyster slabs are all delicately place with intermittent squash blossoms in sterling silver as well as some Navajo pearls making this truly unique. Standard sterling clip clasp. The necklace has a little over 11″ drop, measuring 22″ tip to tip, the shell pendent is 2″ x 1.5″. Making the actual length of the necklace 13 long.
