Mixed with AAA Spiny Oyster, Mexican Turquoise Drum Beads, Handmade Solid Sterling Silver Navajo Pearls, Hand-cut Natural Emeralds. Finished with Fine Faceted Rubies, Faceted Sapphires, & 14KGF Beads. Custom Sonoran Gold Turquoise (7mm oval) handset Cabochon, S Clasp, Solid Sterling Silver, Stamped. Overall size 28 mm. Emerald Valley turquoise is mined near the Royston mine in Nevada. Known for its mottled appearance, it features a blend of green shades ranging from light lime to dark forest green, often accented by rustic brown matrix patterns and occasional gold flecks. Artisan Hand-Signed/Scribed “BGY” (Begay Family) / “GB”. Up for sale is an absolutely magnificent, one-of-a-kind (OOAK) vintage Navajo statement collar necklace. This is a master bench-made piece featuring a breathtaking design of intricately detailed sterling silver feathers and seven premium, massive turquoise stones. The centerpiece features a large, outstanding vivid blue stone secured in a unique, custom sterling silver setting, flanked by three substantial stones beautifully graduated on each side. The turquoise displays an intense, electric “low sky” blue with a striking, defined dark brown matrix-reminiscent of highly coveted, investment-grade Sky Blue Kingman Turquoise. ARTISAN SIGNATURE DETAILS: Upon close inspection under a jeweler’s loupe of this masterpiece is hand-signed/scribed with the artisan initials “BGY” (the prominent Navajo Begay family silversmith lineage) or “GB” right next to the “STERLING” purity mark. Because this piece was finished and signed by hand with an engraving tool rather than a machine stamp, it holds incredible artisanal and collector value. NOTE : Stones feature natural pits, matrix lines, and surface characteristics unique to genuine mined turquoise.
