Stunning Rustie “White Dove” 42-inch collectible Native American bride doll, created for Collectible Concepts. This impressive large-format doll is a limited edition #0005 of only 2,000, making her an especially early-numbered example in the edition. “White Dove” was created by artist Rustie as her interpretation of a Native American bride. According to the original artist note included with the doll, the elaborate ensemble combines elements inspired by several traditional Native American costumes with added glamour and fantasy. One of the highlights of this piece is the incredibly detailed hand-beaded ensemble. The costume features extensive turquoise, pearl-white and gold-tone beadwork, an elaborate white feather headdress accented with large pink flowers, long dark hair, and a dramatic full-length white outfit. The accompanying paperwork states that the ensemble was all hand beaded and required many hours of careful craftsmanship. Limited Edition: #0005 / 2000. Native American bride-themed collectible doll. Original Certificate of Authenticity included. Original “A Note About White Dove” artist information sheet included. She shows age-related and storage/display wear. There may be loose/flyaway hairs, wear or marks to the clothing, feathers, beadwork, doll body and accessories consistent with a vintage/pre-owned display doll. Please carefully review ALL photos, including the close-up photographs of the face, hands, costume, hair, headdress, markings and paperwork. The photos are an important part of the condition description. This is a very large and visually striking collector doll, and #5 of 2,000 makes this particular example especially interesting for a Rustie collector. Up for sale is a RARE Vintage Almazetta Casey Native American Clay Sculpture Signed Limited Ed 20/100. &####128269; Item Specifics & Details. From a local estate. Any areas that appear to be chipped are glazed over with a clear glaze so they would have happened in the manufacturing process. Particularly on the back of the head, it looks like a section of hair is missing but it is glazed over. I do not see any chips or damage which is incredible. Very well cared for. Mid-to-late 20th-century figurative clay sculpture by celebrated American artist Almazetta Casey. Features an intricately detailed Native American woman wrapped in a heavily textured, unglazed earthenware trade blanket. Measures approximately 8″ to the top of the head and 8″ in length. Please review all photos carefully as they form the primary part of the item condition description. This item will be packaged with care. I will do everything to possible to correct the situation.
