I’ve always been fascinated by arrowheads, coins, currency, militaria, art, and just about anything with history behind it. Every piece has a story. And I enjoy finding collectors for the ones that catch my eye. I’m always open to fair deals and good conversations. Daniel’s Relic Colosseum is proudly veteran-owned. Is a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) included? If a COA is included, you’ll see it photographed in the listing. It’s important for collectors especially novice collectors to know that a COA is an opinion from an individual and not a guarantee. If there’s no COA, the item is considered uncertified, and it’s up to you as the collector to decide if it belongs in your collection. I’m always happy to help fellow collectors find the right piece for their collection. Here is a very beautiful hell gap I acquired this point with 11 others in a frame from Iowa.

Catlin’s upbringing in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania-a crossroads between thecultivated East and the untamed frontier-fueled his lifelong fascination withNative American life. His mother, Polly Sutton, survived captivity during the1778 Battle of Wyoming, a harrowing episode of the Revolutionary War in whichsettlers were attacked by British forces and their Native allies. Her stories, along with the constant flow of trappers, hunters, and settlers passingthrough the region, deeply influenced Catlin’s understanding of the Americanwilderness and the people who called it home. Though Catlin initially followed a traditional path, studying law atLitchfield Law School and practicing briefly in Philadelphia, his artisticpassion and desire to explore the West soon overpowered his legal career. Self-taught as an artist, Catlin found success as a miniaturist portraitist inPhiladelphia before embarking on a transformative journey westward in 1830. During this expedition, he met famed explorer William Clark (of Lewis andClark) in St. Louis, who provided Catlin with invaluable knowledge about theuncharted lands and their inhabitants. With so few of these beautiful pieces ever created, they are hard to come by. This piece does not have it’s original box, instead it comes in a nice fabric covered box to protect it. The medallion measures 2 inches high, 1 ½ inches across the top, 1 ¼ inches across the bottom and? Inch thick. The leather tie is 19 inches long including the decorative ends that are made of silver, which is a very unique feature of this tie vs. His other works finished with a wood toggle instead. Material: Silver, Turquoise, Jet, Coral, Ironwood. Condition: Prestine-Very Rarely worn, only taken out one time in the last 25 years. This piece has been kept by one family and cared for over the decades. BOLO TIES – HERITAGE AND STYLE EVEN TODAY! A bolo tie, particularly in the American West, symbolizes rugged individualism, craftsmanship, and a connection to heritage. It represents a rejection of traditional neckties and embraces a more relaxed, yet stylish, approach. For some, it also signifies a personal connection to Western culture, Native American artistry, or even a statement of unconventional style. Bolo ties are now paired with tailored suits (for formal events) and denim jackets (casual wear), transcending Western aesthetics. TODAY: Celebrities like Beyoncé and Post Malone have worn bolo ties, further amplifying their mainstream appeal. David Yellowhorse is a fourth generation Native American Navajo Silversmith, whose reputation for creating handmade tribal works of art has brought him recognition throughout the jewelry and cutlery industries. David is a master at his craft and his work is highly regarded and collected worldwide. Credit to: Buck Collectors Club.
