Vintage handcrafted ceremonial staff, measuring an impressive 3.5 feet (42 inches) in length. This is a one-of-a-kind artisan piece, significantly larger than standard versions, making it a true statement piece for a collector or for use in a ceremonial setting. This staff is meticulously constructed using traditional-style methods and natural materials. Shaft: Natural, hand-selected wood with a rich, aged patina. Beadwork: Multiple strands of hand-strung glass seed beads in a classic red, black, and white pattern. Accents: Authentic soft fur collar and genuine rawhide/leather wraps. Finishing: Decorative fringe with natural feather accents. Commonly referred to as a Talking Stick or Medicine Spirit Stick, these items are traditionally used in communal circles to designate the speaker and encourage respectful, heart-centered listening. A symmetrical textured design of both sterling silver & 14k gold with an elongated triangular blue opal and purple suglite. Each earring measures approx: 1 1/4 by 7/8. Weight: 15.5 grams. Great vintage condition; some patina. There is a small inlay chip shown in last photo (stones are firmly in place).
