The product is a rare W. Iule Zuni sterling silver turquoise cross pendant necklace. It features a Native American design with a cross pendant shape, showcasing vibrant blue turquoise and malachite gemstones. The sterling silver metal adds a touch of elegance, making it a unique and beautiful accessory for any jewelry collection. With its tribal affiliation to Zuni and the brand’s craftsmanship, this pendant is a valuable piece of jewelry that highlights the rich heritage and artistry of Native American jewelry-making.
Bought this 25 years ago from a collector for our own wear. The cross pendant measures 3 long including the bale, which is large enough for this pendant to be on chain or a cord. A master silversmith, fine castwork, early piece with well matched turquoise stones and interesting chiseled silver decorations on the ends. The artist has his incised signature on the back, and this is one of his earlier pieces. He specialized in crosses, but the later one not as heavy a silver and less decorations on the cross ends. Fine age patina on the silver, and we have not polished this for the photos.
