Vintage Seminole Patchwork Skirt Native American Tribal Art Authentic and Rare
This vintage Seminole patchwork skirt is a rare and authentic piece of Native American tribal art. Made of velvet and featuring intricate multi-color stitching, this handmade skirt is a unique and culturally significant piece of clothing. Its custom size and women’s design make it a special and one-of-a-kind accessory for those with a deep appreciation for traditional American Indian artistry. Made in the United States, this skirt showcases the rich heritage and craftsmanship of the Seminole tribe. The approximate Measurements are as follows: Waist 33″inches with a 3 1/2 ” extension for closure. Waistband to bottom of skirt 41. Measurement across bottom of skirt 122inches. There are 53 rows of rick rack in colors of Turquoise, White, Black and pink. The miniscule patchwork section measures approximately 10inches tall. It is on a black cotton background surrounded by 10 rows of rick rack in white and pink. The colors of the patchwork design are turquoise, white, black and orange. Condition is excellent, pre-owned, vintage over 50+ years old. The blue velvet section, above the patchwork, has a few very tiny spots, that I tried to capture in photos. Hardly noticeable, but, mentioning for accuracy in description. Please view all photos as they are considered part of the description. This remarkable bracelet contains a center silver medallion that is carved with Seminole Tribe of Florida. In God We Trust. Surrounding the medallion is a wonderful thick silver rope. Bordering the silver medallion are large snake eye shaped turquoise stones with accenting silver raindrops. This bracelet contains a double silver shank cuff that graduates into a triple silver shank cuff towards the center with the center being a rope. I absolutely love this wonderful silver bracelet. Your pleasure here at Debi’s Attic Gold in Wewoka, Oklahoma we have a Beautiful Vintage Women’s Native American Handmade 2XL Jacket. This is a pre-owned gently worn hand made jacket in what I would consider to be Women’s 2XL. It is unlined and has 2 snaps for closure, 1 on the neck, 1 on the waist. There are no closures on the wrists. It is Flower Print with 2 rows of Patchwork. There are multiple rows of Rickrack around the shoulders, back, arms, waist and chest. It is a beautiful mixture of Green, Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Turquoise & White. This is an older handmade jacket that is still in good condition. It does have a few stains and a few spots of thread that are coming out around wrists & underarms, could be easily taken care of, please see photos for better description. It measures as follows laying flat not doubled. All our items come from Estates or Pawns from our store and we do not do the deep cleaning and buffing we should so please take that into consideration as we leave that to the new owner.
