Striking Navajo sterling silver pendant by Wilson Padilla, showcasing a large freeform piece of Royston turquoise framed in detailed silverwork and finished with a bold flared drop. The stone has beautiful blue-green color with warm brown matrix, set in a notched bezel and accented with domed raindrops and a textured fan dangle for extra movement and presence. Artist: Wilson Padilla (signed). Metal: Sterling silver, signed and tested. Stone: Freeform Royston turquoise cabochon (stone not lab-tested, ID based on appearance and previous owner attribution). Total drop with bail and dangle: approx. Bail: Elongated flared bail sized for a medium chain or smaller Navajo pearls (see photos with quarter for scale). Vintage/pre-owned condition with light surface wear and patina consistent with normal use. Turquoise is secure in the bezel; silver shows minor scratches but no major dents or damage. Here is a vintage rare Perry Shorty Coin Silver necklace completely hand stamped handmade by one of the most famous silversmiths of our time. Perry’s work is highly collected and valued and he makes jewelry in the old fashioned manor with his own tools and with the use of coin silver in many pcs. The motif used is seen in many of his bracelets as an accent design and easily recognizable as Perry’s work. The 28 stamped segments measure 7/8″ point to point, by 7/16″ wide. The patina is amazing. Shorty on the clasp and marked Coin Silver also. Excellent wearable and collectable condition. Measures 23.5″ end to end plus the 7/8″ center drop section. Weighs 61.40 grams.

See the photos of this nice, all original and stunning belt buckle made by this famed Navajo artisan. I have owned this since the 1980s and have never before offered it for sale. It’s 2 3/8 x 3 inches and weighs 54 grams. It takes a belt that is 1 1/2 inches wide or less. Great hand chasing with a beautiful oval cabochon of turquoise with a great matrix in it. The metal work has to be seen to truly appreciate the expertise exhibited. Great, pleasing natural patina. Nice, clear signature on the reverse. I believe that Bahe made very few of these if he made any more at all. This may be a one of a kind. There are no errant “watery” marks on the stone as the photo makes it appear.
