Very rare Hopi Water Pitcher. Believed to be crafted by the great potter Nampeyo. Unsigned, made from native clay and paints. 8″ tall by 10″ at the widest point. Opening about 6″ x 4.5″. Excellent condition, has had no restoration to its form and no structural damage. There are minor “hairline” cracks which are most definitely attributable to the item’s age. This old large Hopi ladle has been beautifully crafted. It has a unique design with an open loop handle. And has a polychrome squash blossom design inside the bowl. The strap is leather. It measures 8 from the top of the handle straight to the outer lip of the ladle. The bowl of the ladle measures 5 1/4 across. This large Hopi ladle is in good vintage condition. This is an eye-catching Old Vintage HOPI sterling silver bracelet. This beautiful bracelet contains natural beautiful HIGH GRADE Number 8 turquoise stone. Stone is surrounded with hand carved silver rope and silver leaf. Sturdy carinated triple shank bracelet. Bracelet edges are embellished with hand carved silver beads. Signed/Hallmarked by HOPI artist DALTON TAYLOR (Hallmarked Star). EACH PIECE OF OUR COLLECTION IS CLEANSED WITH WHITE SAGE INCENSE. SUPERB HOPI Sikyatki Revival Pottery Vase with Rare Double Eagle Pattern by Renowned Hopi-Tewa Pottery Artist Adelle L. ARTIST: Adelle Lalo Nampeyo b. 1959 is the great granddaughter of Nampeyo of Hano and granddaughter of Fannie Nampeyo. In the tradition of her elders, her work recreates the ancient Sikyakti style pottery using vibrant red, black, yellow and cream colors and geometric shapes often representing animal figures and natural elements. This stunning pottery jar features the double eagle design in a set of four wrapping around the piece. The Hopi double eagle pattern signifies the power and wisdom of the sacred bird, which is considered a messenger and transitional figure between the material and spiritual realm. The eagle plays a dominant role in Hopi ceremonies, evoking the balance between these two worlds and male and female energies, which might also be interpreted in the double eagle form as mirror images or mated pairings.
